Candy Dust

Leicester Day-Dream Believers, ‘Dayflower‘, who recently featured on the Fresh on the Net Blog, have just announced that they are to curate a candied-pop-fest event in their hometown in December.

These shoegazey purveyors of Heart Shaped Tambourines will run their “Candy Dust” club-night on 10th December in THE COOKIE.  (write it in your diary now!!!)

This groovy-baby hip joint, has upcoming gigs featuring such luminaries as Gaz Coombes, and, regular #FOTN contributors, The Vryll Society, so the Day-Glo boys have chosen their venue well, no?  Keeping them company on the night – APART FROM YOURSELVES – will be the magnificently talented Ola Szmidt – some say she sings from the heart, I say she sings from the heavens (ooh that voice – ethereal ain’t the word).  Also bedding down in the Leicester Love-Shack will be Hindi Indie Folk Band, Maggie8.

To give you a taster of what you’ll enjoy on the night, we’re #np some candy coated pop and a kiss of heart melting vocals.  Get your sugar rush on, and then bliss out to DayFlower & the gorgeous Ola Szmidt (sorry boys, I couldn’t really call you gorgeous – that would be kinda stretching it!) 🙂

See below for club night details … Enjoy Peeps
